This post is a tale of my experience with Public sector. I am working in a reputed Public Sector Organisation. Its been a year since I am working in this organisation. I am posted in the manufacturing unit. In just one year I have gone through a myriad of situations, events. But if I consider the span of my service that still is to be 33 years if the age of retirement remains 60 yrs this one year dosent even qualify for a trailor of the lot I'll go through. So I have decided to make a note of all that I learn nd go through the sweet and sour experiences here, this will be a series that I would cherish and read when I will be free.
But first what is a public sector organisation? Following links give a detail account of what public sector is:

A gist of it that I have understood and I am experiencing is that Public sector organistion are firms that basically are funded by public money and therefore are under certain Govt. regulations as to how to use that money, what targets they can set, what all they can buy and sell, what all facilities they can avail etc and yet compete with private sector. So it is like Scotland's army standing against the England army(long time back), the only difference is that they had a zeal to achieve freedom, while here there is a bigger goal, of defeating the giant private sector which has a giant stock of arms and ammunition in termas of facilities and funds to employ and provide better quality. (no freedom tension at present).Yet there's lot to public sector, this definition is just indicative, and to be frank it would take this whole service term probabaly to understand the Public sector. At some point ot time, if possible, I would post the experience of a retired public sector employee.Till then its purely my experience with public sector.
